Nick Kochenour DMD, MSD

About Dr. Nick

He was born and raised in Clearwater, Florida and has slowly migrated north. He graduated from East Carolina University with a Bachelor of Science in Biology and was a member of the honors college.

 

Moving North to the University of Louisville School of Dentistry and graduated with a Doctor of Medicinal Dentistry degree. While there, he was an active member in the ASDA chapter, ADEA chapter, and various intramural teams.

 

He practiced general dentistry in a public health clinic outside of Springfield, Missouri where his wife, Katie, is from and was also practicing. After 2 years in public health, he and his wife moved to Cleveland where he continued his education at Case Western Reserve University's Orthodontic Residency. He graduated with his Masters of Science in Dentistry and a certificate in Orthodontics. Following graduation, he  was accepted to the Craniofacial, Surgical and Special Care Fellowship program at CWRU/University Hospital. 

 

His wife Katie, who is a pediatric dentist, at Keystone Pediatric Dentistry in Medina, and his sons Michael, and Johnny were delighted to welcome twins Andrew and Annie to the family!

Dr Nick is an active member in a number of organizations including the following.

He regularly attends professional meetings and conferences to keep up to date on the most advanced treatment options for all of his patients. 

Dr. Nick is also the craniofacial orthodontist at Akron Children's Hospital where he treats children with craniofacial differences. He also has been a faculty member at Case Western Reserve University orthodontic department since 2016.
